Below the ground, where we cannot see, the trees lead their mysterious lives. They talk to each other, take care of their youngsters, and they might even remember things. The feel when someone’s chopping in them, warn each other of diseases and when it’s spring one can hear the water run through the stem.
Glängtan is a performance inspired by Peter Wohlleben’s book The Hidden Lives of Trees, a popular science book which describes new discoveries where the truth is unimaginable and the scientific seems magical. So incredible that one can hardly believe it’s true.
