Revival 29 August 2026

A witty and tender story about finding your place, even when the map is redrawn. A performance that gently loosens the idea of the nuclear family, warms your heart, and dares to be just as fragile as life itself. From 7 years.

Premiere 11 September 2026

A site-specific, collective experience that transforms the familiar classroom into something unexpected. What we thought we knew takes on new dimensions – and time, space and reality expand far beyond the limits of our consciousness. What might we hear if we listen closely enough? From 10 years.

Premiere 2 October 2026

Anton is 17 and dreams of speeding off, far away from the dead-end town he comes from. But more than anything, he just wants to get laid. A shamelessly funny production that floors it – sweaty, honest and straight to the point – about being yourself in a world full of opinions about who you should be. From 15 years.

Premiere 5 March 2027

A highly visual and physical performance that explores community, trust, courage and the possibility of acting together, through humour, warmth, music and movement. Freely inspired by Timothy Snyder’s book On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century. From 10 years.

Revival 19 February 2027

Backa Teater brings new life to George Orwell’s masterpiece 1984—a powerful and unsettling story of power, control, and the fragility of human relationships. A dystopia that feels disturbingly close, where the struggle to feel, remember, and dream becomes a matter of life and death. From 14 years.
